Blackhawk Foundation Co., Inc. operates in the states of Illinois, Iowa and Indiana and the adjoining areas of Missouri, Wisconsin, Nebraska, Minnesota and Michigan and Kentucky.
We sign agreements in these areas with the local building trade unions as required.

METHOD OF OPERATIONS:

All work is bid/priced and coordinated from our location in Geneseo, IL.
A minimum of two of our permanent personnel is assigned to all projects.
Union craftsmen are hired locally to complete our project work force.

Blackhawk Foundation Co., Inc. owns all its own equipment and also owns all of its own trucks to transport our equipment guaranteeing equipment will be moved at our discretion and not someone else’s.

SAFETY INFORMATION:

Blackhawk Foundation Co., Inc. is a union contractor that prides itself on attention to safety with our past performance and awards emphasizing our commitment.
|

|
All Blackhawk Foundation Company employees receive as a minimum 10 hours of OSHA training, American Red Cross First Aid and CPR training, and site specific safety training on a weekly basis.
|

|
Our attention to safety prevention was rewarded in July 2001, when Blackhawk Foundation Co., Inc. was awarded the Association of Drilled Shaft Contractor’s Safety Award (in national competition) for the year 2000 for the Contractors working more than 50,000 hours.
Blackhawk Foundation Co., Inc. had no reportable injuries in the year 2000 and our Experience Modification Report (EMR) has ranged from 0.73 to 0.78 since 1996.
